The story pits a trio of good guys -- Blade; his broken-down scraggly-haired human mentor, Abraham Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), and Karen (N'Bushe Wright), a resourceful hematologist -- against the forces of evil. Leading the bad guys is wiry, sneering Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff), a rancid hippie-style rebel who wants to overthrow the fussy.
